—- এক বিকাল বেলায় আমি আকাশের দিকে তাকায়েছিলাম। এটি বিকাল ৩টা। সূর্য উজ্জ্বলভাবে কিরণ দিচ্ছিল। এটিকে দেখতে একটি রুপোর থালার মতো মনে হচ্ছিল। একটি এরোপ্লেন খুব শব্দ করে উড়ে যাচ্ছিল। ঠিক তার নীচ দিয়ে একটি হেলিকপ্টারও উড়ে যাচ্ছিল। আকাশে দুটি পাখিকেও উড়তে দেখলাম। আকাশে কিছু জের ছিল। হঠাৎ একটি রামধনু ফুটে উঠতে দেখলাম।এটি চমৎকার ছিল। 

One night I was standing on our roof with my father. I was looking at the sky. It was ten o’ clock at night. The sky was clock at night. The sky was clear. The half Moon was shining. The shaped of the moon was like a bow. The Stars were twinkling in the sky.some Stars are small and some were big.

Once upon a time, there lived a wolf in a thick forest near stream. Sheep, goats and cows from a village nearby Came to he stream to drink water.

বঙ্গানুবাদ: একদা, একটি ঝর্নার নিকটবর্তী গভীর অরণ্যে একটি নেকড়ে বাস করত। ঝর্নাটির নিকটবর্তী একটি গ্ৰামের ভেড়া, ছাগল ও গরুগুলি ঝর্নাটিতে জল খেতে আসত।

The wolf was a lazy and cunning animal. One hot day he was thirsty and so he came to the stream to drink water. He looked down and saw a lamp drinking water from the stream. He was happy and wanted to eat the lamb.

বঙ্গানুবাদ: নেকড়েটি একটি অকল এবং ধূর্ত প্রানী ছিল। এক গরম দিনে নেকড়েটি তৃষ্ণার্ত হলো এবং সে ঝর্নাটিতে জল পান করতে এলো। সে নীচের দিকে তাকিয়ে দেখল একটি ভেড়ার বাচ্চা জল পান করছে।সে সুখী হল এবং ভেড়ার বিচ্চাটিকে খেতে চাইল।

A wicked idea Came to his mind. He tried to make the lamb frightened. He shouted at the lamb,  “you foolish lamb, why are you making the water dirty? Can’t you drink without your legs in the water? ” The lamb looked Up and saw the wolf. But he was not frightened. He was a brave lamb. He replied politely,  “But sir ,you ar wrong. The water is flowing from where you are standing to where I am standing. How can I make your water dirty?”The wolf did not find an answer. But he did not give up. He saída, “six months ago you called me stupid, now you have to say sorry.”

বঙ্গানুবাদ: তার মনে একটি বদবুদ্ধি এলো। সে ভেড়ার বাচ্চাটিকে ভয় পাইয়ে দিতে চাইল। সে চিৎকার করে ভেড়ার বাচ্চাটিকে বলল, “বোকা ভেড়ার বাচ্চা, তুই জল নোংরা করছিস কেন ? জলে পা না চুবিয়ে তুমি জলপান করতে পার না?” ভেড়ার বাচ্চাটি উপর দিকে চাইল এবং নেকড়েটিকে দেখল। কিন্তু সে ভীল হলো না। সে ভদ্রভাবে উত্তর দিল, “কিন্তু মহাশয়, আপনি ভুল করছেন। আপনি যেখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন সেখানে থেকে জলা আমি যেখানে আছ সেখানে বয়ে আসছে। আমি কিভাবে আপনার জল নোংরা করছি? ” নেকড়েটি কোন উত্তর খুঁজে পেল না। কিন্তু সে আশা ছাড়ল না। সে বলল, ” ছয় মাস আগে তুই আমাকে বোকা বলেছিলি এখন তুই আমার কাছে ক্ষমা চা।” 

The lamb replied politely again, “But sir, l’m only three months old.” The wolf had no answer and went away sadly .
