1 . Match the sentences to the picture of the person who said them: (ম্যাচ দি সেনটেনসেস্ টু দি পিকচার অফ দি পারসন হু সেইড দেম:) — ছবির ব্যক্তিদের সঙ্গে তার বলা কথাগুলি ঠিকমতো সাজাও:

(a) “ I’ m afraid of wild animals. ” (“ অ্যা’ম  অ্যাফ্রেড অফ ওয়াইল্ড অ্যানিম্যালস।”) — “ আমি বন্য জীবজন্তুকে ভয় পাই। ” 

Answer: Anup said this . ( অনুপ সেইড দিস্ )। — অনুপ এটি বলেছিল ।

(b) “ If you are in danger , I’ll help you. ” ( “ ইফ ইউ আর ইন ডেনজার, আই’ল হেলপ্ ইউ। ” ) — “ যদি  তুমি বিপদে পড়, আমি তোমাকে সাহায্য করবো । “

Answer: Tipin said this . ( টিপিন সেইড দিস্ )। — টিপিন এটি বলেছিল।

(c) “ Never trust someone who doesn’t help you. ” (“নেভার ট্রাস্ট সামওয়ান হু ডাজন্ট হেলপ্ ইউ।” — ” তোমাকে সাহায্য করে না এমন কাউকে কখনই বিশ্বাস কোরো না।

Answer: Tipin climbed up a tree. (টিপিন ক্লাইম্বড আপ এ ট্রি ।)

Answer: He climbed up a tree because a bear came there . (হি ক্লাইম্বড় আপ এ ট্রি বিকজ এ কেম দেয়ার।)

(d) Question: Who lay down on the ground? (হু লে ডাউন অন দি গ্ৰাউন্ড?) 

Answer: Anup lay down on the ground. (অনুপ লে ডাউন অন দি গ্ৰাউন্ড।)

(e) Question: Why did the bear move away? (হোয়াই ডিড দি বিয়ার মুভ অ্যাওয়ে?)

Answer: The bear thought that Anup was dead , so it moved away. (দি বিয়ার থট দ্যাট অনুপ ওয়াজ  ডেড, সো ইট মুভড অ্যাওয়ে।) 

(f) Question: Who do you like the most — Anup or Tipin? Why? (হু ডু ইউ লাইক দি মোস্ট — অনুপ অর টিপিন? হোয়াই?

Answer: I like the most to Anup because he was honest, intelligent and has a presence of mind. (আই লাইক দি মোস্ট টু অনুপ বিকজ হি ওয়াস অনেস্ট , ইনটেলিজেন্ট অ্যান্ড হ্যাজ এ প্রেসেন্স অফ মাইন্ড।)

Answer: He ran and climbed up a tree. ( হি ran অ্যান্ড ক্লাইম্বড আপ এ ট্রি।)

Tipin is climbing up a tree (টিপিন ইজ ক্লাইমিং আপ এ ট্রি) — টিপিন একটি গাছে চড়ছে বা আরোহণ করছে।

Notice the underlined words. You can see that some of these words have ‘s’ and some don’t have ‘s’ at the end . Find out and write the words that are used before ‘plays’ and  ‘sings’.
