Ans: The people of Tarajan village earn their livelihood by agriculture, animal husbandry, fishing and cottage industries.

(b) Name some of the most prevalent economic activities of your town or village.

Ans: The most common economic activities in our village are paddy cultivation and animal husbandry.

(c) Write down the names of at least three economic activities in which you and your family members are involved.

Ans: At least three economic activities in which our family members are involved are:

(i) My father cultivates paddy.

(ii) My mother sells cow milk.

(iii) After my studies, I teach as a private tutor.

2. What is the difference between economic and non economic activities? Explain each activity with examples.
